On November 30th, RusAir will celebrate it's 10th Anniversary!
Founded originally under the name of CGI Aero, to reflect the name of its original parent company, the company was formed in 1994 as an Air Charter Operator based in Moscow, expanding from its brokering business into the operation of aircraft.
Later, the company changed its name to RusAir and it is now operating two TU-134 and four Yak-40 aircraft from Moscow. For the past ten years, RusAir has continually promoted safety as its number one priority, and its goal is to improve and to surpass its past performance.
Among its many clients, RusAir has had on board various heads of state, government official and even royalty. However, RusAir's core business comes from companies such as ChevronTexaco, ExxonMobil, Starsem, Marathon and many other companies and smaller businesses, as well as private individuals.
RusAir looks forward to at least another 10 years of promoting safety in the air charter business in Russia and the CIS, and anticipates an exciting time ahead in charter aviation in Russia.
